---"Go sell crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here."
Congratulations for being picked Blog of Notes honorary for today.I agree with you that we are feeling good about a new era in politics.
Great to see Barack take over. Nice blog.
But there's a problem with that decision too: where should all the prisoners go now? Nobody really wants them back I think...
Congratulations on being Blog of Note! Great taste in templates too. you have a beautiful little girl!!
Given his proclamation of transparency you would think the authentication of his birth place would not be shrouded in mystery.
congrats blogger of note! I like!!!
A president of action, not just words or symbols -- this is wonderful indeed! Congrats on being Blog of Note! And what a marvellous family you have!
Cute kid and blog :)
I was thinking the same thing.http://racheteapaintersdiary.blogspot.com/
Truely we are on to something good. It certainly feels that way.
I agree with your sentiments! He talked in his inaugural address about how the time has come to make the tough decisions--and he's already making them. So many things just aren't black and white, but we still need to wade through the grey if we are ever going to get back out into the sunlight!
Your are so right my friend. It's about time that we have a President that is actually going to take action instead of sitting back and watching the world fall apart. I know this is just a minor thing but It's good to know that he isn't going to be messing around.
congrats on being blog-worthy! and what an ADORABLE little girl you have! i miss those days of giggles and 'firsts'... :D
Barack Obama is incredibly inspiring. He hit the ground running and isn't afraid to deliver on his promises.Yes, really, the biggest search is for his birth certificate. See, the one thing that Obama-haters just can't let go of is that somehow he isn't American. They worry it to death like a dumb dog worries a favorite toy. Those people are to be pitied, and wary of, because they can still vote.
Hurray for Obama and hurray for you, too, Blog of Note!
The most warm and kind regards from Bulgaria. He gave hope for a better world!
Yep - there are some die hard conservatives out there who will argue with liberals just to argue (even without real facts - you know, spin parrots). The alleged "birth certificate" is all they have. They need to just accept that we have a Democrat in office for the next 4 years and move on. And I agree - Obama is far better than what we had and if the first day is merely a sampling of what's to come - maybe something will actually change in this country.
Congrats on being the Blog of Note today, I checked out your blog for today and I have to say, I am looking forward to a good four and maybe eight years!
omg did he really close it?! YAY OBAMA!!! that's good news :]
As I said to a friend earlier today, this country needs to reclaim the moral highground like we're storming the beaches of Normandy. This is a great way to start!
I think all women are really more beautiful when pregnant. It's such a crazy wonderful miracle. :pWarm greets from the Philippines!~
I have to respectfully disagree. His closure of Qitmo is a bit premature and not well thought out. His suggestion to move those prisoners to Levinworth is laughable. Do we really want the worst of the worst living in the heartland of our nation? I pray for the best out of Obama, but am preparing for the worst. But, congrats on the blog of note pick!
Congratz for being Blogs of Note today!!Congratz for your New President!and...Your Baby is soooo adorably cute!!Greetings all the way from East Borneo, Indonesia

We certainly are into something good. Amen. Yes sir. Yippee!Every time I hear the NPR announcers say, "and President Obama said...," I get tingly all over. (Apparently spell-check doesn't know Obama's name yet---they gotta change that.)-JJ

If I were Barack Obama, I think I would close down Guantanamo Prison right now too.WAIT A MINUTEj/k all I know is that it's going to at least be a moral and upright four years, if nothing else. I bet he even walks his dog himself. The presidential pet is going to be so freaking cool.tasteyourmaker.blogspot.com

Hopefully Obama does not make a lot of disappointed people in the future ...
congrats on blog of note.and i wonder why people wanna know about obama's birth certificate... maybe bc its such a mystery. why can't he just come out and say it. maybe bc the us constitution doesn't allow for a non citizen to be president. hmmmmGod bless the USA

There's something great in the air. Obama is really an inspiration. I also feel like he's a real person, which is rare for a president. Congratulations on being a blog of note. Check this wiki out. It looks like it's still in the developing stages, but it looks like a good idea. http://thingstheyshoulddo.wikispaces.com/
Uncle Barack is the man!
Gitmo: One big mess to clean up. Oh by the way?Picture of Obama's birth certificateSnopes sets record straight on birth certificateRemember how they also said Obama was a Christian AND a (secret!) Muslim, at the same time? LOL crazies! Good times!
you are my hero too, a blog of note is one of the hardest accomplishments on earth so congratulations!
While I'm pleased to see that he is already moving forward on his campaign promises, I would like to see a little more thought put into these decisions. What are we going to do with all of those prisoners?
Congrats on being blog of note and on being a mom!
hi! Very good pages!!:)I've just created a new blog.I could advertise for free your blog trough a link that I can put as a post in my blog. If you want it tell me. "Ilinkyoursite"
Obama is right on point. I think the best is yet to come though. This move is just to show that he is serious and committed to holding onto the values America claims. Wait till things really get going.
Congrats for your elected president,Obama. I hope there will be so many contrary with the elected presidents before. Of course better I want.Btw, I'm still feel unhappy for his statement, here.I don't know what's his reasoon for that.But..we hope, he will do the best. I'm not sure but..just my expecxtation..
Barack Obama..is hero`
If by "something good" you mean people that want you and I dead are now just a little more free, than I guess maybe we are on to something "good." Oh, bother!I digress. Congratulations on the Blog of Note selection.
grats for getting in Blogs of Note!I'm totally feeling optimistic, even with all the upcoming choices the review team is going to have to make about what to do with the people in the prison. NPR had great coverage. Being on google all day, I noticed that too. Silly people trying to find theories and loopholes from the swaring in and from his back ground. He's president, give it a rest and enjoy the next 4 years!
Hello, very good you blog.masquemaquillaje2009.blogspot.com
CONGRATS!! on being the Blog of Note.
I once had to do a project on Guantanamo Bay in school and I had nightmares for months! I'm so happy that finally something is done about that human-rights-ignoring rat hole.Lauri xox
Day 1, down with Guantanamo. Day 2, down with the global gag rule. Onwards and upwards and the sky's the limit people!
Blog of notes!congratulations!you have a very nice blog!
Barack Obama is the American Dream!!!
Congrats on Blogs of Note! I too am having trouble with the title of my blog. It seems to blah. I want to spice it up but I am drawing a blank. Hopefully something will come to me.http://whitmorefamilyadventures.blogspot.com/
He's my hero too. :)
Congrats to Obama. It was a day never to forget in history BUT we need not forget that he has allot of work to do and so far he is not making good decisions. Maybe the prisoners will end up in Kansas. Maybe
Beautiful baby! Ironically I am waiting very anxiously to find out if I am pregnant (every second is pure torture!) and if not hopefully soon :) I look forward to following! Also, I just want to voice my opinion, for people saying its bad to move Guantanimo (sp?) prisoners because we don't want them in the heart of our country, there are serial killers and rapists out there with as sick if not sicker minds who are already in those prisons, its really not much different...
Nita here-Barack Obama is who the world has been waiting for: http://www.tiptopwebsite.com/nitapita
Hi,I saw your blog on the Blog of notes. Congrats.Anyways, read my blog post on the Obama administeration. I think you'll find it interesting.
I just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your blog. The top reasons you love your mom really hit home for me and brought me to tears. I recently lost my mom to colon cancer and it's been a tough time, I miss her so much! So it's nice to read about how much other people appreciate their moms too. Anyway, keep up the good blog, it really is fun to read. Before you know it your little girl will be throwing a whole new kind of tantrum! lol I have a 2 and almost 4 year old so I know!~Candice Juneau, AK
Thought you might like to know I've referred to your blog over at my latest post.
Lana - I have been watching the news re the US midterm elections and it reminded me of this blog.Do you still think of Obama as your hero or have you become disillusioned? I'd be interested to know what you think of him now...
